Bertha’s may hold the corner on mussels in this city, but when the hankering for raw oysters hits you in Fells Point, there’s no better place to head than the Thames Street Oyster House. The bar offers ten different kinds of oysters daily, any one of them the perfect pairing for their Local Happy Hour. From 5 – 7 PM Monday and Tuesday and 4–7 PM Wednesday through Friday, enjoy the specials available on local selections like Dogfish Head beers, Boordy wines, and a concoction called the Thames Street Smash: Pikesville Rye with muddled mint and lemon on crushed ice. Make a reservation upstairs for one of the best views in neighborhood.
