Comedy Central's 'Drunk History' Rolls Cameras at Mother's Federal Hill Grille
Last week saw history in the making at Mother’s Federal Hill Grille. Drunk History, that is.
Comedy Central’s smash hit, which has Charm City-born Derek Waters enlisting the help of tipsy history buffs (some famous, some not so) and familiar faces from Hollywood’s a-list to highlight some of history’s lesser known events, stopped off at the Federal Hill bar last Thursday to shoot an episode for its second season, which will air this coming summer.
While there, Waters and crew interviewed subjects for what will be a Baltimore-themed episode with segments that focus on Edgar Allan Poe, Abraham Lincoln and Francis Scott Key. And based upon the thousands who turned out, it is safe to say the show enjoys a strong fan base here.
According to the Baltimore Sun, filming stopped at one point while the crew sought refuge in a back room, and Mother’s staffers pushed back the huge crowd. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you posted as more deatails about the episode, and its air date become available.
