Nick Offerman and Lagavulin Present the Best Virtual Yule Log on YouTube
If you happen to live in a house or apartment that is devoid of an actual wood burning fireplace, maybe you like to throw a log on the ol’ virtual hearth to keep things cozy in the wintertime. YouTube, and even Netflix, is full of virtual yule log options that you can pop on your TV. Some yule logs are even accompanied by christmas tunes and the soft crackling of a real wood fire.
Nick Offerman, famed comedian and whiskey connoisseur, took it upon himself to upload his own virtual yule log on his YouTube channel My Tales of Whisky Official. The video is described as “45 minutes of uninterrupted Lagavulin Single Malt Scotch Whisky-drinking bliss with Nick Offerman by the Yule Log”. We watched just about every minute of this yule log and must agree that it is pretty blissful. Who knew watching someone sip scotch for 45 minutes could be so wonderful.
If you’re looking to warm your hearth-less house this holiday season, might we suggest throwing this yule log up on the TV and enjoying a nice glass of scotch whisky alongside Mr. Offerman. You’ll be feeling holly jolly in no time.
