Sixth Annual Beer, Bourbon and BBQ Festival at Timonium Fairgrounds, March 22-23
Spring arrives on March 20 and with it comes the huge Beer, Bourbon and BBQ Festival at the Timonium Fairgrounds. On Friday and Saturday, March 22-23, the fest will take over the whole Cow Palace indoor event space with 60 beers, 40 bourbons and a barrel load of ‘cue.
Friday night is the Whole Hog VIP session, which allows a limited number of guests a sneak preview of the goods gathered for the Saturday show. Your $59 ticket includes a barbecue dinner from 6–10 PM with pulled pork and all the fixings, as well as all-you-care-to-drink beer and whiskey. Expect entertainment like on-site pitmasters dishing tricks and a BBQ sauce challenge.
On Saturday is the main event, which runs $35 in advance ($45 at the door). Admission to the noon–6 PM session covers as much tasting of beer and bourbon as you like, a souvenir glass to hold it, barbecue eats of all kinds, live rock ‘n’ roll, blues and bluegrass music and more. Look for exhibits, a cigar tent, seminars on brewing, ‘cuing and distilling and space to relax.
If you want to go to both days, spring for the package deal of $85, but act quickly since the Friday Night VIP is already more than 6% sold out. Drink Baltimore will see you there!
