Sample the Best Local Distilleries Have to Offer at the Maryland Spirits Showcase, March 20

By the time the weekend arrives, it will be time to bid adieu to the St. Patrick’s shenanigans and get on with day drinking in its own spirit. What better send-off for the March holiday could there be than a Sunday Funday of sipping local spirits?

From 1–4 PM on Sunday, March 20, trek over to the Baltimore Museum of Industry for an afternoon of learning about the history of making craft spirits and the resurgence of the industry. The Maryland Spirits Showcase is the first of its kind, celebrating locally distilleries and featuring tastings of locally-made spirits, small bites, live music, and hand-crafted cocktails.

“We are excited to present this brand new event that showcases an up-and-coming industry so popular with young and old alike. Maryland is really stepping up to the plate and bringing some innovative and unique flavors and products and we’re happy to share them with local residents,” said Kevin Atticks, Executive Director of Maryland Distillery Guild.

Participating distilleries include Baltimore Whiskey Company, White Tiger Distillery, Lost Ark Distilling Co., Lyon Distilling Co., Cassinelli Distilling Inc., Blackwater Distilling, and many more.

Tickets are $55 for General Admission and $75 for VIP. VIP passes include exclusive distillery chats throughout the afternoon and special samples of unreleased spirits & barrel samplings. All tickets can be purchased online or by calling 410-252-9463.
